In our garden we have a large vegetable patch where I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, squashes, salads, herbs, etc. during the season. Any produce which we cannot consume ourselves we sell via vegetable boxes and there is an honesty box outside our gate.
We have a flock of chickens that lay a number of eggs on a daily basis. Any eggs that we don’t personally use are used for the home baking courses or are available for sale.
We only feed the chickens organic food and they free range on fresh grass, so the eggs have deep orange yolks and a lovely flavour.
